JACKSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police are searching a wooded area in Jackson County, looking for the second suspect in a double homicide.
According to police, Terry L Hammonds is on the run in Jackson County.
A manhunt is underway in the Happy Top Road area. State Police responded to a call of shots fired in the area.
Hammonds is one of two suspects in the murder of Joey R. Marcum, 35, and Whitney R. Venable, 28, both of McKee.
Bobby L. Hammonds is currently in custody and charged with murder in the case.
Terry Hammonds is considered armed and dangerous.
