MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Paint Lick man is facing upgraded charges stemming from an arrest at a Berea McDonald’s.

Police said Tuesday that 52-year-old Ty Embry has been charged with three counts of first-degree sexual abuse of victims younger than 12 years of age.

Embry originally was charged with indecent exposure and disorderly conduct in the April 21 incident.

According to an arrest citation, someone called police after three witnesses reported seeing Embry standing in the restaurant looking into the children’s play area with his pants down, touching himself inappropriately.

Berea police said Tuesday in announcing the upgraded charges that "Embry engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior in front of several small children inside of the business."
