HENDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WFIE)– A police chase that started in Evansville, Indiana ended in Western Kentucky.
Authorities say a deputy recognized 27-year-old Tevin Woodruff as a parole violator and tried to stop him Tuesday.
Police say Woodruff sped off, then stopped a short time later and let a young child out of the car.
Investigators say he later rammed a deputy’s cruiser north of the Twin Bridges.
Police say Woodruff hit stop sticks and landed in a ditch, where he tried to get away, but was bitten by a police dog.
He faces multiple charges.
