Police Pursuit Crosses 5 Counties, Ends Safely

LONDON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Multiple police agencies were involved in a pursuit that crossed five different counties.

The chase started in Georgetown when police there attempted to stop a vehicle that had been reported to have been involved in a hit-and-run. 

The pursuit came to an end near Exit 41 on South I-75. Spike strips were deployed near the exit while London Police blocked all London exits. The vehicle’s tires were flattened and the came to a halt at the exit.

London Police assisted Georgetown Police, the Scott County Sheriff’s Department, Kentucky State Police, and the Laurel County Sheriff’s Department.

Thankfully, no one was injured. The female driver was taken into custody.
