(LEX 18) – A company that supplies items to Kroger, JBS USA, is recalling more than 35,000 pounds of ground beef. The supplier says the packaged meat may be contaminated with hard plastic.
The recalled products include the establishment number “EST. 34176” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to distribution centers in Virginia and Indiana for further distribution to retail locations.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to the consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
The raw ground beef items were produced on March 22, 2018. The following products are subject to recall:
