SOMERSET, Ky. (LEX 18) – Somerset Christian School held their twelfth running of the K4 Kentucky Derby.
The students (along with their trusty racehorses) got some physical activity as they ran the race.
The first horse that crossed the finish line was named "Lightning." His jockey friend was Rhett Childers, 5. He received the traditional rose garland to celebrate.
