CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (The Winchester Sun)– A longtime state representative is withdrawing from this year’s race, saying politics have become too vicious.
State Representative Donna Mayfield made the announcement Wednesday night at a candidate forum, citing concerns of "hostility in politics."
She has served as the state representative for Clark and Madison counties for eight years.
