LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– The BISSELL Pet Foundation and the Lexington Humane Society are hosting a free adoption event this weekend!
‘Empty The Shelters’ will take place at the PetSmart in Hamburg this Saturday, May 5.
LHS will have lots of animals available for adoption who are looking for their forever homes.
The main Adoption Center, located at 1600 Old Frankfort Pike, will be closed to the public Saturday.
At past ETS events:
- 52% of ETS adopters were first-time adopters
- 99.4% of ETS adopters have or already plan to recommend adoption their friends/family
This nationwide event has helped more than 9,000 pets from 14 states find home.
Families that adopt Saturday will be required to pay the required $8 licensing fees if they are a resident of Fayette County.
