MIDDLESBORO, Ky. (WRIL) – A motorcyclist has died after a Friday collision in Bell County.
According to WRIL, the crash happened Friday afternoon on North 16th street. Brandon Cornelius of Shake and Bake Motorsports on Cumberland Avenue was on a green Kawasaki dirt bike belonging to the business and was traveling through the parking lot at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle.
Cornelius overturned the dirt bike and struck the pavement. He was airlifted from the scene to UT Hospital in Knoxville. He passed away Tuesday.
