LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– On a day when law enforcement officers are honoring their fallen officers, police, KSP troopers and sheriff’s deputies across Laurel County are keeping their eyes peeled.
Earlier this month, pictures surfaced on social media of a man holding a gun while traveling behind a KSP cruiser. They have no idea who this person is and the Facebook account to which these were posted turned out to be a ‘bogus’ account.
Police say it happened twice this month through two separate postings and they are concerned simply because they don’t know if this was nothing more than a joke, or something to be taken very seriously.
We will be talking with KSP shortly and hope to not only have more information but word on how you might be able to locate the person behind these pictures.
