LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18)– The crew from the popular show "Top Chef" are in the Bluegrass.
They’re filming for the new season focused on food here in Kentucky.
"Top Chef" host Padma Lakshmi was in Louisville’s NuLu area Wednesday visiting Feast BBQ.
She was treated to a mint julep and sampled nearly half the menu.
"I have a half rack of baby back pork ribs, with collard greens and mac and cheese," Lakshmi said. "Fried pickles. I have loaded tater tots and I have pork cakes and then just so I can watch my weight I have this chopped chicken salad so I’ll report back on how everything is."
"Top Chef" is filming season 16 in Kentucky– with shoots planned in Louisville, Lexington and Lake Cumberland.
