BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Two people are in custody following a string of burglaries throughout Danville.

Police arrested Clinton L. Hurley, 35, and Kayla F. Gonzalez, 30, around 10:10 a.m. Thursday.

The investigation involved extensive surveillance, the execution of numerous search warrants, and collaboration with other law enforcement agencies including the Lexington Metro Police Department and the Kentucky State Police.

As a result of the effort, evidence was collected that implicated these two individuals to burglaries that occurred at Calvary Baptist Church and the First Christian Church, as well as a theft from a vehicle that was parked in the Living Water Worship Center.

Despite the arrests, the investigation is ongoing, with additional charges likely being brought against each of the suspects. Hurley was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, Theft By Unlawful Taking Over/$500, and Unlawful Access To A Computer 1st Degree. Gonzalez is facing a single count of Unlawful Access To A Computer 1st Degree.
