ELLIOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A woman was killed in crash early Saturday morning in Elliott County.
Kentucky State Police say 50-year-old Marsha Harper of Olive Hill was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say a Dodge pickup truck headed southbound on Kentucky Highway 7 at Bruin when it crossed into oncoming traffic, striking the car driven by Harper.
The driver of the pickup truck was flown to an area hospital in undisclosed condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
