LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police are investigating after someone opened fire late Sunday night, hitting nearby houses.
It happened about 10 p.m. in the 300 block of Ross Avenue, off Third Street.
As of now, it’s not clear if someone on foot or driving by fired those shots, but we’re told two homes in the area were damaged by that gunfire.
Police say there are no suspects in this case, but they’re looking at wanton endangerment and criminal mischief charges for the person responsible.
A victim showed up to an area hospital about midnight with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Police don’t know where that person was injured, or if it’s at all related to the Ross Avenue incident.
