LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – British paparazzi snapped a picture of the Queen of England riding with an adorable beagle by her side. The dog, belonging to Meghan Markle, has come a long way from his humble beginnings as a stray dog in Kentucky.
Guy was destined to die in a Montgomery County Shelter when he was rescued by Ontario-based ‘A Dog’s Dream Rescue.’ The organization specializes in rescuing beagles from kill-shelters.
It was there that Meghan Markle was filming her hit tv show "Suits" and fell in love with the dashing lad.
The dog was seen the day before Markle’s nuptials riding with Queen Elizabeth.
Not bad for a little dog from Mt. Sterling.
