LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced they will begin widening New Circle Road this week.
Crews will be working on the area between Georgetown Road and Boardwalk Avenue.
The project also includes the reconstruction of the interchange at Newtown Pike.
Alternating lanes of Newtown Pike at New Circle will be closed on Monday May 21 through Friday June 1 7:00p.m. until 6:00a.m.
Both northbound and southbound directions will be impacted.
Lane closures will be in effect for the right/slow lane from Newtown Pike/KY 922 to Colesbury Circle/Boardwalk Drive from Wednesday May 23rd through Friday June 1 from 7:00p.m. to 6:00a.m.
All work is subject to weather conditions.
