Police Arrest Couple Involved In Multiple Burglaries

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A couple was arrested this month in connection to a string of burglaries.

Police say they arrested Kevin M. Wilson, 22, on Monday in relation to multiple shed and garage burglaries.

Detectives identified Wilson along with his girlfriend, Taylor L. Cox, 24, as potential suspects for the increase in shed and garage burglaries in several areas throughout the city. Through the course of the investigation, detectives determined Wilson had been linked to multiple burglaries and thefts. 

Cox was arrested on May 9 and charged with one count of Burglary 2nd degree.

Wilson is charged with three counts of Burglary 2nd degree, three counts of Burglary 3rd degree, and Theft by unlawful taking (Felony).

Detectives were able to close over 30 burglary and theft cases related to these arrests.

Wilson is currently lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
