MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department says a suspect is in custody after one person was killed and another gravely wounded overnight in a shooting.
Deputies have cordoned off two homes along Washington Avenue as they investigate.
Authorities say the injured person was taken to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
The Montgomery County Coroner says the name of the deceased shooting victim will not be released until family is notified.
