ROSS COUNTY, Oh. (LEX 18) – A pup in southern Ohio is looking for a new home after being abandoned with the words "free" and "good home only" written on its body in permanent marker.
The dog was dumped in a park in Chillicothe, Ohio according to a Facebook post.
Brittany May, who works at the Ross County Humane Society, posted on Facebook sharing her outrage.
The 6-month-old dog has since been renamed Marvella, according to a report by WKRC-TV.
May writes that anyone interested in applying to adopt the dog should contact the Ross County Humane Society.
