PULASKI COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) A community in Pulaski County is temporary without a police department.

Eubank is looking to hire replacements for the two officers who turned in their retirement notices last week. Chief Colin Hatfield and Officer Warren King, Eubank’s two-person police force, have been in law enforcement for more than two decades. Both decided to retire.

During this transition, Mayor Eddie Hicks assures the community that the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department and KSP will patrol and answer 911.

"I just hope that we get one or two more good individuals in here that understand the community, and will patrol, and do their best," said local business owner Andrea Roberts.
