We saw a few showers & storms Tuesday but with Alberto’s remnants tracking N/NE over western Kentucky midweek expect a better chance for scattered showers and storms Wednesday. This kicks off an active phase through the end of the work week. Alberto is gone Thursday but a round of potentially strong to severe storms will fire and track east mainly in the afternoon & early evening. A cold front will follow Friday keeping more showers and storms rolling to start the weekend.

Our historic run of consistent & unusually warm May days continues with Wednesday & Thursday in the low/mid 80s. Lexington has a good shot at setting a new record for the most days at or above 80° in May!
