STANFORD, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Lincoln County man has been arrested on child pornography charges.
Sawyer Carey, 19, was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.
Equipment allegedly used by Carey to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination.
Carey is currently charged with two counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor. Additional charges are expected.
He is lodged in the Lincoln County Detention Center.
