GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18/WCMH) – A man wanted in an Ohio homicide was arrested in Georgetown Wednesday morning.

Deshon Gregory Sallee was arrested and charged with aggravated murder. According to WCMH in Columbus, Sallee is accused of killing one person and critically injuring another.

The deceased victim was identified as Ricqus Marshall.

Officers figured out that Sallee and another person were driving down I-75 southbound near Georgetown. Investigators say that they learned that the suspect was in a silver Acura and that they had traded tags with another vehicle of the same make to confuse officers.

The two were pulled over on Outlet Road near the Cracker Barrel. Sallee was taken into custody without incident. Inside the car, officers found the plate that matched the description of the car.

Both the suspect and his driver will spend the night at the Scott County Detention Center.
