Accused Ohio Killer Captured In Georgetown Requests Extradition

Posted

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – The suspect in a Columbus homicide, who was captured Wednesday in Georgetown, faced a judge to request he be extradited to Ohio.

25-year-old Deshon Gregory Sallee was captured near the Cracker Barrel in Georgetown yesterday afternoon. Police in Ohio believe Sallee is connected to a double shooting there last week that left one man dead and another in critical condition.

Officers in Georgetown were told to search for a silver Acura headed down I-75, which they soon spotted. Sallee was the passenger in the car and taken into custody without a fight.

It’s unclear whether the driver is also connected to that murder case. The extradition request will be reviewed June 28. Sallee refused our request for an interview.
