MT STERLING, Ky. (LEX 18) – Funeral arrangements have been announced for the Montgomery County Deputy Jailer who was killed last week.
According to jailer Eric Jones, the funeral for David Scott will be helped at Taul Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Monday. A private visitation will be held for friends and family beforehand.
Clark, Powell, Bourbon, Boyd, Rowan, Woodford, Simpson, Leslie, Campbell, Fayette, Scott, Shelby, Oldham, Wolf, and Nicholas Counties will be sending 45 staff members to work at the jail during the services
A procession will follow after the services and will travel down East Main Street to the bypass, past the high school girl’s softball field, onto Spencer Pike and then to the Machpelah Cemetery.
