WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – Storms caused a chain of events on a Woodford County roadway which ended with a tree in the road and a broken gas meter.
According to officials on scene a tree fell on Old Frankfort Pike, taking with it a phone line. An oncoming car saw the tree falling and swerved to avoid it, clipping a gas meter.
Old Frankfort Pike will be closed for several hours to clean up the scene. Thankfully, no one was injured.
