LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man was taken to the hospital after being hit by a car Thursday morning
Police say that pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Officers have blocked most of the intersection at the inner loop of New Circle Road at Russell Cave Road while an accident reconstruction team investigates the scene.
The only traffic flowing through the intersection is from the outer loop of New Circle.
Police say they aren’t exactly sure how long they will be on the scene, so try to find a different route if your morning drive brings you through this area.
