LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) A Tennessee man is in jail after he allegedly sexually abused a young girl.
According to a warrant, 35-year-old Jason Barlar of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, has been arrested for first-degree sexual abuse.
The alleged acts happened back in 2011 when the victim was 12 and Barlar was 28.
The victim, who lives in Lexington, told authorities Barlar subjected her to unwanted sexual contact on multiple occasions while her mother was away at work.
He was booked into the Fayette County Detention Center yesterday.
