LEXINGTON, Ky.– LaRosa’s and Skyline Chili are building two new full-service restaurants at 2890 and 2850 Richmond Road in Lexington. To celebrate their progress, LaRosa’s and Skyline are giving away free LaRosa’s cheese pizza slices and Skyline Chili Cheese Coneys at a first-ever rain or shine Neighborhood Block Party.
It’s slated for June 8 and 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Richmond Road construction site.
Guests will drive through the block party as LaRosa’s and Skyline workers serve them hot, fresh slices and Cheese Coneys and give them free goodie bags, while supplies last.
Lexington’s 104.5 The Cat and WBUL-FM 98.1 The Bull will promote the block party on air, and WBUL’s Amy Nic will host live from the construction site Saturday. During the event, both iHeartRadio stations will give away tickets to Taylor Swift’s Reputation concert June 30 in Louisville.
Skyline Chili at 2850 Richmond Road is expected to open in August 2018. The 4,855-square-foot Skyline location will provide a convenient drive-through window, along with a traditional dine-in, 132-seat restaurant featuring a fireplace. The LaRosa’s at 2890 Richmond Road will open sometime this Fall. The 6,725-square-foot LaRosa’s location will include dine-in, pick-up and delivery of its family-recipe pizzas and other Italian favorites with a 200-person capacity dining room. The location will also feature a four-sided bar serving a full menu of beer, wine and mixed drinks along with a “Buddy Room” for parties and events.
