LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A local charitable organization appreciates the number of donations they’re getting, but those after hours are starting to pile up.
The Salvation Army, located on W Main Street, took to Facebook to show the clutter that accumulates when people drop their items off after they close.
They are asking the public to make sure they only bring items during the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
"Anything left outside of the center is considered dumping and there is an ordinance against dumping and may result in fines. Thank you for your help and your understanding."
