KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– An officer was chasing a man on foot when he was led into the woods and attacked.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Department was responding to a burglary Monday night on Young’s Creek Road.
When arriving on scene, three men were standing on the property and 22-year-old Luke Roark fled on foot.
While a deputy was chasing him, they ran into the woods and Roark attacked him.
Roark has been arrested on multiple charges including evading police and assaulting a police officer.
