LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A juvenile was detained Wednesday following an incident involving a gun.
It happened around 3 a.m. at an apartment on Centre Parkway.
Police say a young woman arrived at the apartment with some other juveniles to confront an ex-girlfriend.
The ex felt threatened by the group and pepper sprayed in their direction.
Police say a male juvenile proceeded to open fire toward the apartment. The girl went back inside, and the shots went through a lower apartment where three people were sleeping.
No one was hurt.
The male juvenile was detained after police found him in a car down the road with weapons inside.
He is facing three counts of wanton endangerment.
