Sheriff’s Office Warns Of Jury Duty Scam In Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is receiving complaints of an unknown male representing himself as a deputy and asking for money due to missed jury duty. 

Officials say all of these calls are a scam.  The number provided by a complainant is 859-353-3662.  This number provides a recording stating you have received the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.  This number is not associated with the sheriff’s office.

It is not the standard operating procedure of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office to call and solicit money due to warrants or any criminal complaint.  If you receive one of these calls do not provide any money or personal information.  You can contact their office at 859-623-1511.
