LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Fayette County grand jury has indicted a Winchester man in the fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a Lexington real estate agent.

The grand jury indictment finds 44-year-old Michael Ray King "committed the offense of Leaving Scene of Accident / Failure to Render Aid / Assistance With Death Or Serious Physical Injury.

King is accused of killing 46-year-old Lexington real estate agent Stevonn "Stevie" Page on April 12 outside her Fayette County home.

Officials said Page was moving trash cans on Leestown Road near the Scott County line when she was hit by a car driven by King.

Police say King fled the scene. He was captured by police down the road from where the crash occurred. A 911 caller followed King and gave directions to police.
