3 Inmates Accused Of Bringing Heroin Into Boyd County Jail

BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ)– Three women are charged with bringing heroin into the Boyd County Detention Center after two inmates overdosed, court records show.

Christy N. Queen, 28, of Argillite; Stephanie Proctor, 31, of Catlettsburg; and Jessica Breece, 29, of Ashland, all are charged with first-degree promoting contraband.

Investigators say late Monday and early Tuesday, the suspects knowingly introduced dangerous drugs into the jail.

All three are currently listed as inmates at the detention center.
