TAYLOR COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office said that a man has been flown to the University of Louisville Hospital with a gunshot wound to the head in an accidental shooting.
They report that on Wednesday morning around 10:09 a.m., 20-year-old Tyson Rice and his brother were playing with a loaded 9mm gun when it discharged and a bullet struck Rice in the head. This happened at the Lucky Vista Motel on South Columbia Avenue.
He is in critical condition, according to a press release from the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation is ongoing.
