KNOX COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18) An arrest warrant has been obtained for a woman accused of driving a vehicle that hit a woman on Ky 1232 Thursday evening.
KSP said that 46-year-old Shawna Moore, of Corbin, was walking north on Ky 1232 in Corbin when a vehicle hit her with the passenger mirror, causing her to fall into the ditch. She was transported by ambulance to Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin with non-life-threatening injuries.
KSP said that the driver of the vehicle didn’t stop after the collision.
An arrest warrant has been issued for 41-year-old Michelle Huddleston Helton, of Corbin. She is facing charges for leaving the scene of an accident and failure to render aid/ with serious injury.
