Winchester, KY (LEX18)
Firefighters continue to battle a huge fire at Stuff Recycling, a scrap metal recycling facility on Winchester Road just past the Fayette/Clark County line. The fire has been burning since about 5PM, and several LEX 18 viewers have reported seeing flames and huge plumes of black smoke near I-64, and as far away as Paris in Bourbon County.
Crews from several Fire Departments have been called in to try to contain the fire, and our LEX 18 News crew is working to get as much information as they can. We’ll have a full report coming up on LEX 18 News at 11.
