FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police are seeking help from the public to identify suspects in a recent attempted armed robbery.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office released photos taken from surveillance video showing two men trying to rob the Triple R Mart BP at U.S. Highway 127 South and Burlington Lane.
Police say two unknown black males tried but failed to rob the gas station at gunpoint.
One suspect held the clerk at gunpoint while the other was looking out for police.
Authorities say the suspects fled without taking money or merchandise.
