BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WNKY) A Bowling Green man is accused of pocket dialing 911 while committing a burglary.

Police tell WNKY that they responded to Greenwood High School 12:30 a.m. Saturday after a phone call to 911 where they could hear people talking and noises that sounded someone was breaking into something. When they arrived at the scene, WNKY reports that 20-year-old David Rodriguez was hiding behind a bush.

His phone number matched the phone number that called 911. Police said he admitted to being the lookout while three other men allegedly broke into a concession stand, stealing baseball caps and a Yeti cup.

He said those other men ran off.

There was damage to the door frame and the cash register.

Rodriguez is charged with 3rd degree burglary and 1st-degree criminal mischief.
