PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Somerset teenager was killed early Monday morning in a single-vehicle crash.
The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said 17-year-old Madison A. Hannah died after crashing a yellow 2004 Pontiac on Kentucky Highway 39.
A deputy responding to the scene found the Pontiac on its hood in a ditch.
Police said the car rolled several times and Hannah had been thrown from the vehicle. Authorities say she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Officials said Hannah failed to negotiate a curve in the road and that speed and wet road conditions might be factors in the crash.
