LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — It was lights, camera, action inside Rupp Arena on Tuesday afternoon, but this time basketball wasn’t the competition taking center court, it was a cooking competition.
Bravo’s long-running culinary contest "Top Chef" is filming in Kentucky with two teams squaring off in Lexington. There was a large studio audience bringing the enthusiasm to Rupp Arena and a huge production team worked behind the scenes for hours to make the episode.
In January 2019, you’ll be able to see the "chef-testants" turn up the heat and get to cooking.
Members of the production crew told LEX 18 that they will be in Lexington through the end of the week.
