LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ)– A cheerleading coach from Greenup County is accused of sexual battery.

38-year-old James Boggs, of Wurtland, entered a not guilty plea on Monday, but more charges could be coming.

Police say the victim is a teen boy who took tumbling lessons at Gem City Allstars in Ohio. They say the majority of incidents happened there, but other incidents may have happened at Boggs’ home or on trips to other states for competitions.

Boggs’ bond was set at $150,000.

He’s scheduled to be back in court later this week.
