Lexington Police Seek Info On 2nd Car After Fatal Crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police are seeing information from the public about a fatal crash earlier this month.

According to police spokeswoman Brenna Angel, a 26-year-old woman was killed and three passengers were injured the night of June 2 when the 1997 Toyota Corolla they were in crossed the median and flipped on Richmond Road.

The car was traveling inbound just before 11 p.m. when it crashed near Jacobson Park.

Surviving passengers in the Corolla said another vehicle also traveling inbound moved into their lane, causing the driver to swerve and lose control of the vehicle.

Police are asking anyone with information about the crash to call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 859-258-3663.
