UPDATE: Woman Sought After 3 Men Accused Of Kidnapping, Assault With Knife

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Mount Sterling police have issued an arrest warrant for an Olive Hill woman in connection a knife assault and kidnapping for which three men already are being held.

Police say 33-year-old Sabrina L. Zornes is wanted on charges of complicity to kidnapping, complicity to assault and tampering with evidence.

Zornes may be driving a 2007 white Ford Explorer with Kentucky plates 520-WTT, police said.

On Monday, Mount Sterling police arrested 24-year-old Brandon Kyle Lambert of Morehead, 35-year-old Lonnie Thomas Bailey of Olive Hill and 43-year-old Samuel Pennington of Olive Hill.

According to an arrest citation, police were sent out after calls reporting that three people were assaulting someone at a local motel. Witness told the police who were dispatched that the assailants had forced the man they were attacking into a car and sped off.

Police were able to locate the car based on the witnesses’ description and found it stopped near an interstate.

According to the arrest citation, the victim and suspects were in the car. Police said the victim was screaming for help when they arrived. According to authorities, the victim and the suspects all were covered in the victim’s blood.

"A knife was used in the assault," the charging document notes.

The victim "did sustain multiple serious injuries" and was taken to an area hospital in an undisclosed condition.

Lambert, Bailey, and Pennington are charged with kidnapping of an adult and second-degree assault. All three were being held in the Montgomery County Detention Center.
