LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Police are investigating two shots fired calls in Lexington.

People in the area of Radcliffe Road and Linton Road reported hearing the shots just before 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Shortly after that, reports of shots fired came in from the area of Judy Lane and Allen Drive.

Police say the two calls do not appear to be connected, but they did find shell casings in both locations.

Later in the morning, just before 9 a.m., officers were called again to Judy Lane for a home with a bullet hole in the front window.

Police say the damage appears to be from a ricocheted bullet, and they believe it happened overnight while the homeowner was sleeping.

They say that call may be related to the previous shots fired on Judy Lane.
