HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) — A Kentucky man was cited after officials say he attempted to bring a loaded gun on an airplane Monday.
TSA officials say the man had a loaded .380 caliber handgun in his carry-on bag at the Huntington Tri-State Airport.
WSAZ is reporting that the man, who is from Van Lear, Ky., told TSA officers he forgot he had the loaded gun with him. Police found six bullets inside.
TSA contacted the airport police. Police confiscated the gun, questioned the man, and cited him on a weapons violation.
