LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Investigators say arson is to blame for a house fire Thursday night, and it’s not the first time this house has caught fire.
It happened just after 11:30 p.m. on East 6th Street near Chestnut Street.
Officials say flames were shooting from the back of the house when firefighters arrived.
They got the fire contained, and say the house was abandoned.
It was set for demolition soon, but investigators do ask if you saw anything suspicious at the time of the fire to leave a tip by emailing arson firstname.lastname@example.org, or calling 859-231-5672.
