Get ready to get sweaty this Father’s Day weekend- especially toward the end of it. We’ll start off with highs in the upper 80s Friday. High pressure east and a S/SW flow will pump higher heat & moisture into the Commonwealth the rest of the weekend. Expect highs around 90° Saturday and in the low 90s Sunday. With dew points in the 70s Father’s Day the heat index (what it feels like out there) could hit triple digits!
Get Dad one of those party hats with built in double beverage holders and take him to the lake- you’re going to need to find a way to stay cool. The good news- we’ll stay mostly sunny & shower/storm free.
