LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – If you are searching for a job, Forcht Bank will be hosting a “Hamburg Job Fair” on Thursday, June 21st from 4 PM – 7 PM.
The event will be held on the third floor of the Forcht Group building, 2709 Old Rosebud Road, behind Forcht Bank. Participants will have the opportunity to network and speak directly with company representatives from the Hamburg area who are currently hiring for open customer service related positions.
A variety of companies will be participating in the job fair including: JoS. A. Bank, Chico’s, Fan Outfitters, Yankee Candle, Justice, My Favorite Things, and Forcht Bank. On-site screenings and interviews are available for job seekers. All potential applicants are invited to attend and are encouraged to dress in professional attire, bringing copies of their resume.
With a robust US economy in 2017 and the addition of more than 2 million jobs, it was expected to see the national unemployment rate fall significantly. Lexington has also enjoyed the robust economy and low unemployment. Local companies are experiencing an increasing number of openings and want to fill open positions quickly to maintain their level of service.
